Cambridge Capable App
Available for mobile platform, the app is meant to provide opportunity for self-paced practice to course participants. Corresponding to the topics taught in class, the app is an interesting and engaging way to learn and practise concepts. It provides access to more practice tasks corresponding to each session in class.
The methodology has three components: concept > activity > practice. The sessions have concept videos and explanation to help understand concepts through scenarios; role plays to simulate situations and reflect on speech; and quizzes to test their understanding of the concept. There is opportunity for practice through the record-and-compare feature which also allows for reflective learning. This feature provides the opportunity to record one’s own voice and compare it with the pre-recorded expert’s voice. The learning and practice nuggets are engaging, and these will add immensely to the benefit of the learning programme.
This mobile app is only for students registered with institutions offering the Cambridge Capable course. Access to the app is provided only via the institution. If you are a student enrolled on the course, please contact your teacher or the administrator for log-in credentials.
